Yeah, I know that high fashion is artistic and what not, but some shit is just ugly and freaky. Gareth Pugh, the critics’ darling who brings performance art to the runway also brings mostly unwearable clothing. Why not just show your designs in a gallery or museum and call it a day? His Fall 2010 collection accessorized some of them models’ nails with chain mail. Yes, chain mail. Not cute. Just because something is new and innovative doesn’t mean that it’s aesthetically pleasing, and last time I checked, women like to look attractive.

WTF?

I used to think that Zappos was a deal, if not a good deal,  than at least the free shipping was some sort of a salve. But, to find out the same model of Nine West shoe is $107.96 down from $119.95 on Zappos.com, while the same exact shoe is $89 on Ninewest.com at REGULAR PRICE made me say WTF? That’s so not cool, Zappos!

My obsession with gold lately has extended itself to bags. No longer satisfied with carrying the occasional gold clutch, I’m now in love with a bag I can tolerate seeing daily–Foley + Corinna’s leather and gold mesh (!) crossbody bag. Combine gold mesh (where have you been all my life, by the way?) and sleek glazed leather with a chain/leather strap and call me yours.
