Fall/Winter 2010 Collections are starting to roll in with the beginning of New York Fashion Week, which officially starts Thursday, February 11th, 2010. Some designers, though, make their own rules. Such is the case with Shipley & Halmos. Instead of having a traditional show or presentation, they decided to have a private press preview and serve Pabst Blue Ribbon, the finest of beers. Never mind all that. Their clothes rock! Minimalist, with a decidedly classic feel, their clothes feel timelessly chic and luxurious without pretense. One of our bloggers was lucky enough to talk to Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos for Dossier Journal, a fashion/lit/art/culture mag.
