So, we first got a glimpse of acid wash at the William Rast show back in February and were both horrified and intrigued (mainly because it was paired with a lot of cowboy fringe). Do we really need to bring back EVERY trend from the 80s? Anyway, since everyone from Wet Seal to Balmain is doing acid wash–and all the hipster robots (and ashamedly I) will be scooping them up from American Apparel– we might as well dive into this trend as well. The pair above isn’t so bad, as long as they are paired with a simple top and shoes.

The above t-shirt is cute and not as acid-y and gets the FMMH stamp (or kiss) of approval! As long as I don’t feel as if I dropped acid after looking at an acid wash item, I’m getting on board with said trend!

Acid wash top= genial, acid wash jeans= ass looking wide and mashed in= not cute at all, unless wearing tunic to cover the ass mess.
